THE GLOWING GARDEN II

Video-mapped textile composition.

Artists: Vivoid

Topic:

The installation originates from the hidden connection between geometry and nature - the idea that every organic form contains underlying geometric structures, and that even the simplest shapes can build a living, continuously evolving system. Light layered onto the static material structure sets the form in motion, expanding the spatial composition into a temporal dimension. Through the interaction of matter and light, a constantly shifting visual system emerges, evoking transformation and cyclicality. The mosaic-like elements function as abstract visual fragments that, under certain lighting conditions, briefly assemble into a recognizable form before dissolving again. Within the Memento Mori context, the skull appears as a structural reference rather than a personal symbol - a form that outlives the body yet carries no individual narrative. Its cyclical emergence and disappearance reflects impermanence and continuous transformation, reminding us that time is not linear, form is never fixed, and everything that comes together will eventually fall apart.
