The exhibition
The Cinema Mystica universe is the home of light sound and arts. A sensory journey that leads across sixteen new media installations. The spaces are transforming to mystic worlds where the borders are blurred between vision and reality, where the viewer becomes a part of the art and the magic happens...
The producers of the Cinema Mystica retaught the relation between technology and art created an unparalleled audiovisual experience that’s absolutely unique at the Hungarian art scene. Digital arts, immersive projected spaces, 3D printed sculptures, interactive installations and short movies are waiting for the visitors at the Kristály Színtér building on the Margaret Island between 13 May - 5 June.

About Global Illumination
“Global Illumination is a creative workshop of freelancers, bringing together the energies of artists with similar interests but different skill sets. The collective format gives us the opportunity to transcend individual frameworks to create complex and unique projects. The GI portfolio is diverse, from large-scale mapping projects to festival stage designs, digital artworks, commercials and experimental short films. From live action to full CGI, or a mix of both, our team usually takes a production from concept to final delivery. With over 10 years of production experience behind us, we always select the best team for the job and plan the production pipeline. The principle behind the way the collective works is that the medium may vary, but the universal relevance of the message is key. We create on this basis day after day, as a social experiment, preferably in a stress-free environment, where participants can work in a high vibrational flow with as much love as possible for the task at hand.”
For our exhibition, called Cinema Mystica, we selected a very spectacular, mystical and thought-provoking collection of video and multimedia artworks. Awakening of the soul, transformation of the mind, new consciousness, the relation of the humans and the universe and explorations of inner worlds are the main themes of the installations.
